I qualified with a BOst (Bachelor of Osteopathy) in 2004, from the British School of Osteopathy, the oldest and largest Osteopathic school in the UK.
I worked in several practices in the UK, as well as running my own clinic, before relocating to Canberra in 2012.
Before training to become an Osteopath I worked for many years in finance and banking in the City of London. Although very successful in my City career I did not find the work fulfilling and decided on a complete career and life change. I now have absolute satisfaction in my work as an osteopath and the flexibility of the job allows me to work and still spend plenty of time bringing up my two little girls.
I have always had a keen interest in working with expectant mothers and babies, especially so since having children of my own. However I enjoy the challenge of treating a diverse spectrum of patients of all ages with all manner of problems. I work using a mix of traditional osteopathic techniques, such as muscle massage and joint manipulation as well as using cranial osteopathy, vibrational medicine and dry needling.
I spend a lot of time updating my techniques through postgraduate study and short courses.
In 2000 I was a Osteopathic Concepts Prize winner, receiving the award from HRH Princess Anne.
